Güçlü Oktay DDS, PhD.

Dr.Güçlü Oktay was born in Ankara at 1971. He started his education at TED Ankara College primary school in Ankara. He moved with his parents to London at the age of 10. There he attended St. Michael at Bowes primary school and Arnos Grove middle school respectively. After returning to Turkey he went to Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High school and graduated from there.

He got his dental education at Hacettepe University in Ankara. After graduation he entered the phD program at the prosthodontic department of the same University. He finished his phD program at 2000. Furthermore, for advanced prosthodontic training he attended a post-doctoral program in prosthodontics and dental implants at New York University(NYU).

While his stay at New York he also entered American Dental Association’s National Board Exam and succeeded it with flying colors.

Work Experience

He practiced 5 years of dentistry at the Prosthodontic department of Hacettepe University at the capacity of research assistant. He also worked at NYU College of Dentistry for more than a year.

After returning to his homeland, he opened a his multidisciplinary dental clinic at Levent. After working in this clinic for several years, he spent another 2 years at abroad for a new experience. He then returned to Turkey and worked 7 years at several dental clinics such as DentaWorld, Hospitadent, Dentakademi.

Finally, he founded a multidisciplinary clinic at Sancaktepe-Yenidoğan where he is currently practicing dentistry and attends his patients.

Dr.Oktay has several research and publications regarding soft liners, dental implants and Temporomandibular joint.

His area of expertise and interests are, implant supported prosthesis, aesthetic treatments, precision attachments and telescopic crowns, all on four full arch restorations
